Pingshan Archives & Local Chronicles Museum

The project site is located on the northeast side of the Pingshan District Government Building, on the west side of Pingshan Avenue, and on the south side of Pingshan Sports Center. The location is superior. Through the research on the layout mode of large archives, the design aims at the characteristics of the site and the public attributes of the archives, and puts forward three strategies of 'urban settlement', 'composite efficiency' and 'green extension'. The two pavilions are planned to be arranged along the central axis, combined with the open urban green space plaza on the north side, to form an architectural community that echoes with the existing buildings and is independent of each other. The overall function of the building is arranged in layers in the vertical direction. The lower part is combined with the building form to achieve the vitality of public activities. The upper part ensures the safety of the warehouse area and the privacy of the internal use parts; the interior adopts the concept of enclosure, with the warehouse area on the inside and the outside Exhibitions and offices provide flexible use of space, which are connected in series to form a space skeleton with one axis, two cores and eight cores as a whole. The façade design is oriented to green lightness. The main façade is equipped with oblique glass curtain walls, and each room is equipped with a green planting platform to weaken heat radiation and reduce energy consumption. Multiple high-rise gardens are built inside to allow the green space to penetrate.
