The First People's Hospital of Wujiang City
The First People's Hospital of Wujiang were built in 1936. It is a comprehensive hospital integrating medical teaching, feasibility research, and prevention. The architectural design and overall planning are fully considered from the east and south of Wujiang. The spatial outline and city image in the two directions of the urban area and the traffic road on the northeast side form a unified, orderly and richly layered spatial interface, reflecting the unique architectural personality and obvious identity of the hospital building. Taking into account the properties of the project's expansion, the overall layout of the new and old connections and future development trends, the possibility of development is provided by means of cross-street corridors and reserved traffic connections. The buildable area of the building is relatively small, and the design of the standard floor has been transformed on the south side, increasing the number of wards on the south side and reducing the nurse’s care radius. In the cramped land, by making full use of the land, a lighting space is reserved between the main building and the tower, so that the medical function of the podium is set around the light hall, providing a better healing space.
