Peiwen Dayawan Experimental School of Peking University

The project is located in the Daya Bay Economic and Technological Development Zone, Huizhou City, Guangdong Province. The school includes 108 classes in elementary, junior high and high schools and some international classes. As the first '12-year consistent system' school in Daya Bay District, it is a high-end private boarding school designed in accordance with Guangdong Province's exemplary and modern international school standards. The design of the main entrance of the school is different from the traditional axial symmetry or large-scale and large-axis. The way to enter the campus through the school gate is to enter the indoor atrium space first in the form of a 'architectural complex', which serves as the school's public resources. The comprehensive teaching center has a variety of science and technology, experiment, and art interest classes, as well as public enrollment exhibitions, teaching experience centers, and open days for parents. Therefore, when entering the campus from the entrance, you first feel the rich learning and communication space in the lobby atrium, experience the interesting recreational space here, and then enter other teaching spaces of the school through the corridor and courtyard. This is more like visiting an exhibition hall serving education. The facade adopts rational parametric skin design, adopts 5 different sizes of vertical sunshade pilasters, and is set at 1.8 meters intervals along the street. It can be viewed from different angles during travel, creating a 'fluidity' and 'walking'. Jing Yi's vertical epidermis. The vertical texture of the building group, imitation stone bricks, and exquisite detail design also want to create a neo-classical temperament that reflects the calm and grandeur of educational buildings.
