Eye Hospital
The Shenzhen Eye Hospital is rebuilding and expanding a high-floor-rate and high-density ophthalmic specialist hospital in a small plot. The only way to expand its activity space is to the vertical height space and the surrounding urban space. Therefore, outpatient, medical technology, hospitalization, office and scientific research are arranged in the vertical space of the second phase tower. In order to reduce the oppressive feeling of the tower on the city, the podium retreats part by layer, and each retreat is a three-dimensional healing garden.
The core concept of the design The Eye of the City allows waiting and public spaces to be integrated into the city. An eye disease exhibition hall, greening platform, and main outpatient public space are set up on the 6th-10th floors, so that patients and medical staff can have a vibrant medical space and become a city. Three-dimensional extension of space.
The overall traffic forms a three-dimensional loop, forming a traffic space connecting ground and underground. The podium adopts the form of the main medical street plus medical modules, connecting the public spaces of the new and old hospital areas in series. The second-stage day surgery center and the first-stage surgery center are on the same fourth floor, and the clean corridors are connected. Horizontal material channels are set up on the fifth floor. Pharmaceutical preparations, clean items, and hospitalized meals can be transported between the new and old buildings through this channel.
The façade design embodies the design philosophy of "excellent in heart, simple in shape", based on the principle of modular design, the fixed glass between each unit is misplaced with the ventilating box, and the concealed window has the effect of sunshade; the vision is as clear as double and double Bright eyes, admire the wonderfulness of this city.
