Two works of Zhubo Design were shortlisted for 2021WAF World Architecture Festival

Recently, the WAF World Architecture Festival announced the finalists. Two works of Zhubo Design were shortlisted in the unfinished category of Future Projects. Among them, the Huaqiang Financial Building was shortlisted in the office building category, and the Shenzhen Natural History Museum was shortlisted in the cultural building category.

 

WAF is one of the largest and most prestigious events in the international architecture industry organized by the British EMAP Group. This year is the 13th year of the event. The annual awards ceremony invites architects and designers from all over the world to gather together to exchange and share. This is a grand event that integrates awards events, conferences, and the spread of architectural knowledge. It is committed to commending, sharing and encouraging outstanding architectural design.

 Huaqiang Financial Building 

Design unit: Shanghai Youan Architectural Design Co., Ltd. + Zhubo Design Co., Ltd.

Huaqiang Financial Building is located in Nanshan District, Shenzhen, with a construction area of ​​approximately 92,000 square meters. The design introduces the concept of "high mountains and flowing water" to create a customized business headquarters, a three-dimensional ecological headquarters, and a TOP-level international office space in the Huaqiang International Financial Center. Innovation leads the future development pattern of commercial and office property, which is more humane, natural, commercial and efficient. In order to create a new landmark in Qianhai and create a good office image of the headquarters.

 

 


Shenzhen Natural History Museum 

Design unit: Beijia Aiqi (Shanghai) Architectural Design Consulting Co., Ltd. + 3XN A/S + Zhubo Design Co., Ltd.

Shenzhen Natural History Museum is located in Pingshan District, Shenzhen, with a total construction area of ​​about 100,000 square meters. The architectural design captures the unique atmosphere of the riverfront site, just like a river forming in balance with the land, and people walk along the unique rooftop viewing platform to enjoy multiple views.

As one of the “Top Ten Cultural Facilities in the New Era” in Shenzhen, the project will become the first large-scale comprehensive natural museum in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and even southern China, filling the gap in comprehensive natural museums in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao region.
